In May, AZ INN FUKUI welcomed five new foreign staff members to its ranks!

We have just finished our training and we are probably still unfamiliar with many things, but we are all working hard, so we hope you will continue to support us.

Well, this time we will introduce you to a festival that is a specialty of Fukui.

As many of you may already know, Fukui is actually famous for soba noodles!

The Imashiro Soba Festival, a festival centered around soba, is being held today.

The Imasho area is a famous soba producing area in Fukui Prefecture.

Those who have used Fukui Station may know this, but the soba stand inside the station also serves Imajo Soba.

The Imasho area receives a lot of snow, and the large temperature differences and the delicious water from the melting snow make the buckwheat grow delicious.

The best part of this festival is being able to compare different types of Imasho soba.
