Hello everyone!

My child loves gem hunting, and when we went to a gem hunting event during a trip to Tokyo, he said, "I wish there was one in Fukui too."

And then summer vacation arrived.

I heard that the first mini gem hunting theme park in the Hokuriku region has opened in Fukui, so I went there right away (*'ω'*)

[Treasure Mining Awara]

There is a "River Area" and a "Mine Area", and you have 15 minutes to search for gems in the River Area and 10 minutes in the Mine Area.

The mine area is dark, so we were advised to wear a headlamp, but it was quite difficult to point the light where we wanted it... so we ended up holding it in our hands while searching (>_<)

Also, digging up the sand was surprisingly hard work. My daughter, who is an elementary school student, had a hard time, but she seemed very happy when she found a beautiful, sparkling stone in the sand.

Unlike the mine area, the river area can be explored in bright light, so it's definitely perfect for children!

My daughter was very happy because she could see so well and was able to get a lot of jewels (*^^)v

Starting in September, we will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays!

There's a sense of excitement as you never know what's going to come out, and it can be enjoyed by both adults and children, so be sure to give it a try!
