At the Yakachi River, the setting of Niimi Nankichi's masterpiece "Gon the Fox," 9 million red spider lilies bloom simultaneously every year from late September to early October. You can enjoy the scenery created by local people to express the worldview of the fairy tale "Gon the Fox." During the "Gon Autumn Festival," held to coincide with the peak viewing season, you can visit places associated with Niimi Nankichi, such as the Niimi Nankichi Memorial Museum, and various local hospitality projects are planned.
