Takefu Knife Village, where the first forging takes place, is where manufacturing, sales and experiences take place.

The initial forging process is done without using any machines, and the knife is made using traditional forging techniques that reproduce the forging techniques of the past.

There is little traffic in the area, and the sound of hammering iron can be heard on the day.

Depending on the weather, the event may be held in the snow, creating a magical atmosphere.
