This science museum is a place where you can not only see, but also learn about the wonders of the Earth and the universe through hands-on experiences such as touching and playing.
The Chita Peninsula's only planetarium hall projects elaborate programs that change with the seasons. With 240 seats in an 18m diameter dome, you can relax and enjoy the starry sky. We especially recommend the live commentary by the star navigator (starry sky commentator). He will introduce the myths surrounding the constellations and explain the charm of the stars in an easy-to-understand way.
By opening up parts of this dome, it can be used as a multi-purpose hall, where events such as concerts and small plays are held.
Additionally, the rooftop astronomical observatory is equipped with five telescopes, including a 40cm diameter reflecting telescope, and hosts an exciting and themed "stargazing party" every month.
