Introducing the current state of AZIN
Hello everyone!
Thank you for always reading the Azin blog.
This time, we will introduce the Kamezaki Bonbai Exhibition, which will be held at the Tachikawa Museum of Art Annex in Handa City from February 20th to 25th.
The mansion built by the second head of the Mase family, Sakuemon Mase, who ran a lumber business for generations due to shipping and who opened a miso and soy sauce brewery as a side business in the Meiji era, is now open to the public as the Sakuemon Mansion, an annex of the Tachikawa Museum of Art.
In November 2023, it was designated as a national registered tangible cultural property.
The Kamezaki Bonsai Exhibition, held at the Sakuemon residence, will be held for the fifth time this year.
Please enjoy the elegant space of cultural assets and bonsai plum blossoms.
Also being held at the same time is Echizen Yokocho, which will feature seasonal sweets as well as exhibits of roof tiles from Sakuemon's residence.
The Yashiki Cafe will be open for a limited time only, and you can also enjoy a tea corner.
