With May just around the corner, have those of you who started a new life begun to get used to things a little?

Some of you may have already started your Golden Week holidays.

This time, we will introduce the flower festival pilgrimage held in Obu City.

Hanamatsuri is an annual event held on April 8th to celebrate the birth of Buddha, and its characteristic feature is the pouring of sweet tea over the baby Buddha in a flower-decorated shrine called "Hanamido".
This tradition originates from a legend that sweet dew rained down from the heavens at the time of the child's birth, and it is a popular event at temples throughout Japan to pray for good health and the healthy growth of children.

This event will be held on May 3rd and 4th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Various events will be held, including a stamp rally visiting 24 temples in Obu City and the opportunity to sample sweet tea offered at each temple.
