For some people, May is synonymous with clam digging!

Many of you probably went there during Golden Week, right?

Today, I'd like to introduce a clam digging spot located about 30 minutes from Handa!

①Tarumi Coast

Place　Near Shioda-cho 1, Tokoname City
Period　April 2nd (Thursday) - June 1st (Monday)
Prices　Clams: 1,000 yen/kg
Limits on the amount of fish that can be caught.　2 bags of clams per person

Access　5-minute walk from the "Minami Tarumizu" stop on the Green Community Bus.

②Nishiano Coast

Place　Near Karasaki-cho 2, Tokoname City　
Period　April 2nd (Thursday) - June 1st (Monday)
Prices　Clams: 1,000 yen/kg
Limits on the amount of fish that can be caught.　2 bags of clams per person

③Koba Coast

Place　Near Kariya-cho 1, Tokoname City　
Period　April 2nd (Thursday) - June 1st (Monday)
Prices　Clams: 1,000 yen/kg, Hard clams: 2,000 yen/bag (approx. 1kg)
Limits on the amount of fish that can be caught.　Two bags of clams per person, one bag of cockles per person.

Belongings

Rake, net for shellfish, bucket, rubber boots, work gloves, towel, hat, cooler box, ice packs, etc.

After enjoying clam digging, we highly recommend staying at Az Inn Handa Inter and relaxing in our large public bath.
