September is just around the corner. From September 1st, bottom trawling will be permitted, and it will be the season when Echizen Town lands the most fish of the year. 

Furthermore, Fukui Prefecture's largest fish event, the "Echizen Fish Festival," is scheduled to be held at Michi-no-Eki Echizen on September 19th (Sat) and September 20th (Sun)!　 

🌸Event period: September 19th-20th (Saturday and Sunday), 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM 

🌸Event details: 

　☆Tengurimon Market: On-the-spot sale of freshly caught fish and seafood, and sales of seafood gourmet food. 

　☆Experience becoming a fisherman (fee required): 

　　　A boat trip on a fishing boat (for elementary school students and older, approximately 30 minutes) 

　　　Fish catching event (for elementary school children and younger, by lottery) 

　　　Fresh fish auction experience 

　☆Echizen flounder filleting class and petting zoo
