The building, which remains the original sake brewery where sake was actually brewed for about 1972 years until 200, tells the story of sake brewing in the Tokai region.
Red spider lilies along the Yakachi River
The Yakachi River, which flows through the Chita Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture, is widely known as a famous spot for viewing red spider lilies. Every year, the "Gon Autumn Festival" is held along the 2-kilometer walking path along the banks of the Yakachi River, during the peak viewing period for the red spider lilies (200 million flowers) (late September to early October). In fact, the name of the "Gon Autumn Festival" has a story behind it. Do you know the fairy tale "Gon the Fox" by Niimi Nankichi? The river where Heiju catches eels in the fairy tale is the Yakachi River in Handa City. The red spider lilies of the Yakachi River are connected to the fairy tale "Gon the Fox," and the red spider lilies appear in the story, where they are described as "blooming like a red cloth."
Tokoname City Ceramics Walk
Selected as one of the "Top 100 Beautiful Historical Landscapes of Japan" in March 19. This refers to the area around the pottery village that flourished most around the early Showa period.
