Nobunaga's Mansion

Azuchi Castle was the final castle of Oda Nobunaga, who advocated for the unification of the country under military command. It was a magnificent castle representative of the Sengoku period, but it only lasted a few years. Today, all that remains of the castle are stone walls and other remains, but the gorgeous castle tower has been reproduced at the nearby "Nobunaga's House." It has also been used for filming many period dramas, including the historical drama "Go."
Nearby you'll also find the ruins of Azuchi Castle and the Azuchi Castle Archaeological Museum.
